2010 National SBHC Advocacy Day

More than 300 SBHC advocates and youth joined NASBHC in Washington D.C. to advance federal SBHC policies in health care and education reform on June 17, 2010.  

A rally kicked-off the morning, where we had the honor of hosting our Congressional champions -- Senator Jeff Merkley and Representatives Lois Capps, John Dingell, Chris Murphy, and John Sarbanes -- who revved us up for a great day of Hill visits.  Participants spent the remainder of the morning and afternoon visiting their state’s members of Congress -- at least 125 meetings were held!
